Dr. Shirley Zhang
I could not imagine having a better job than being an orthodontist! I love meeting and getting to know each one of our patients individually during their orthodontic journey with us. Our role in guiding each of our patients’ progress towards a perfectly pearly smile and seeing their self-confidence blossom at each appointment is what brings me joy and makes my job so incredibly rewarding. I’m beyond excited to be working side by side with my good friend Dr. Lippitz; our synergy and joviality make us an excellent team!

Dr. Zhang is a native of Naperville, Illinois. She attended Northwestern University where she earned Bachelors of Arts degrees in biology and psychology. She continued her education at the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with honors. She then finished her training at the University of Illinois, one of the most prestigious orthodontic residencies in the country. While there, she earned a Master of Sciences (MS) degree in Oral Sciences and Orthodontics and received specialized training in complex treatment such as surgical orthodontics and cleft and craniofacial orthodontics. Her Master’s work was presented at the American Association of Orthodontists annual conference.
